Rapper Sky Blu From LMFAO Fought Mitt Romney... Seriously

Posted almost 2 years ago

Well, that was a fun headline to write, especially because it's true. Reports are coming out today thanks to a TMZ video that rapper Sky Blu of the smartly-dumb party rappers LMFAO, got into a confrontation with former presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Allegedly, Sky Blu was laying his head down on a flight to go to sleep when Romney grabbed him by the shoulder and told him to sit up straight. Then things got a little intense:

If Romney had asked nicely, Blu said he might have put his seat up, but since he was so rude ... Well, next thing you know, Blu said Romney reached out and put his hand on his shoulder and asked him again to put his seat up. Blu said he knocked Romney's hand away, thinking nothing of it. "His wife screams. ... They're getting loud, so then the flight attendant comes over, and I try to get louder than them to plead my case. 'No, the man assaulted me! I was protecting myself!' I might have thrown a few cuss words in there."

In the video, air marshals are seen escorting Blu off the plane. He said they diffused the situation and though the police detained him for a minute, he was not arrested but given a ticket for the next flight out.

You really can't make this stuff up. LMFAO? More like WTF, right?

......Hhmmmmm.  I wonder if a Rapper of dubious achievement recognized a chance for some cheap publicity, as well some props for taking on "the Man".

.........All of that aside, reading between the lines one can easily imagine this going down....each of us informed of our own perspective.

The man admits he heard someone asking him to raise his seat & that he didn't know who was speaking, indeed, he admits he thought it was a flight attendant.  But he lay there forcing the speaker to repeat the request several times....most rude behavior, no?  Even if the passengers had not JUST BEEN ASKED BY THE FLIGHT CREW to raise their seats, if someone asks even as a simple courtesy, does it not deserve a response, of some kind?

No,  this stinks of publicity stunt to me.  Who knows...maybe they can crack the top 50 now!
