   deadmandeadman says Well, yeah. But its more than that. There is a close knit far flung community here of folks who live n breathe music. Writers, performers, fans, they are all represented here. You can discover new sounds and help others to do so. Its really great. I have many new friends I've never met and most I [probably never will]. But I know these folks pretty well, and they know me,(and some of them even sorta like me, LOL). So read "most recent" or "most commented on", look around, there are many interesting informative folks here. Wacky ones too. Not many pervy types, they get a _very_ cold reception.

   holyfool says Welcome to MOG! I have to agree with Deadman, this is the most warm, friendly music community I've ever encountered on the internet. People who are truly interested in turning you onto some new music, and being turned on in kind. And yes, the occasional mean-spirited person makes an appearance, but they are very quickly and efficiently ignored and exiled. I think you'll find people here more than willing and happy to discuss just about any topic that pertains to music of any kind, and some topics that don't. A little hint: make sure your sense of humor is healthy and in good working order...
