Lizziegreeneyes says 5 hours in the pit ... what was the action like ??? The only time I tried to see them (Lollapalooza '93) - it was the show where they all stood naked on stage for 15 minutes with reverb and PMRC on their chests ... Truly, I know it made an important statement about censorship and I totally agree with Tom's mom re: the PMRC ... but it was a total let down at the time. Still, I got to see TOOL, Primus, Alice in Chains, Dinosaur Jr., Fishbone, Arrested Development, Front 242, Babes in Toyland, Luscious Jackson in 93. (the pits for Primus, AiC, Front 242 & TOOL - I don't know how I survived ! 94 was a sweet Lolla as well. RAtM made it up to the Lolla crowd by coming back to Philly later that year ... of course, I was already at school and couldn't make it back for the show - plus I found out about it several hours before the show would start. Oh well ... now I might get the chance to actually see them play - if this isn't a one time only deal ...

Lyrikhan says well thats cool you were there for that "moment in Rage history" though i would have been annoyed as well; that crowd had to have been getting rowdy at that point:\ and the pit action was unsteady and grimy as humanly possible...i was in utter disgust for the last hour before Rage came on...but there was no better place to be in the world once they came out
