Blow the tattoo off of your arm

As Guy Clark sang: Well the sky was blacker than a funeral suit; hotter than a depot stove…Well it ain’t Texas, but there be tornadoes here. A group of massive storms hit my area of Maryland yesterday as I was about to set off for work, which included a tornado that ripped off the roof of a nearby restaurant which is about a ½ mile from my restaurant. Luckily we had no damage. So it’s funny…one would expect a slow night at work with the power outages, high water, and tornado damage, but everyone seemed to want to get out a drink the night away, reminiscing about the big storm. Oh and how the rumors ran rampant…stories of other businesses razed to the ground, multiple deaths, etc….all ending up being untrue. Sleepy towns love a little excitement.

  2. annieander says Glad to hear you were one of the ones able to tell about the big fish that got away. You could have been under the other restaurant. People love talking about where they were and what they were doing when the big one hit. I know...I live in earthquake country...

  6. Rawkkiddoh says We are getting a similar storm here as I type. It moved it right at the end of school, and the drive home was something spectacular with lightning filling the sky. You might want to practice the duck and cover a few times before heading out to work tomorrow
