Goddamn it, I fucking love *Muse*. I mean, I get it. The new album was not as great as I'd hoped. That said, it still fucking kicks ASS. I gotta say, "Absolution" will probably always be my favorite. I don't see very much mog-love for Muse that often, so I figured I'd add my endorsement. Muse is great road-trip music. I can't even count the number of times I've been speeding down the highway with Muse playing at full-blast for HOURS. I'd challenge anyone who doesn't like Muse to try listening to them on a roadtrip and NOT like it. I remember when "Supermassive Black Hole" came out, my friend and I sort of freaked out a little, because it was so different. We really had to consciously decide not to hate anything until a) the album came out or b) we saw it live. Mere days later, we watched a live broadcast on BBC and they played it and all of a sudden, we realized how seriously good it was. And now I love it. So you see, Muse is one of the few bands that has survived my impulsive nature.Anyhow, I was downloading a bunch of Bright Eyes (for my work computer so I don't have to drag in my CDs) and for some reason, I got a craving for Muse - haven't listened to them in a few months, probably, and that is just unacceptable. So now I have a ton of both on here, but I haven't even started on the Bright Eyes because I was so excited about the Muse.Work is so goddamn boring.
