Soundtrack to Evie's Life

Posted about 4 years ago
I guess until recently, I haven't totally grasped the importance of really well written children's music. My daughter is crazy for music at 2 and a half... We started out with Jason Faulkner's "Bedtime with the Beatles" then got into the jangly upbeat "Catch That Train" album by Dan Zanes. Now that Evie is into movies, we are hooked on the songs sung by Amy Adam's from the movie Enchanted. Sound of Music and Annie are right up there with content and singability. And I have to say, I am grateful for some nice melodies, and words that have content and a sense of humour. So sing on little one, music should be viewed as a core part of our existence from an early age. That's all from here.. off to clean the playroom and sing "The Happy Working Song".
