talking with a friend i realized today: music is no longer about the music. image is _more_ important, 1972 punk- tight pants. a suited guy (me) is completely out of place with his friend's friends. punk && suit != a good mix.
::in other words:: today after school i was hanging with a friend and i realized that most people would not consider me to fit in, i was wearing a suit, the rest punk clothes. my friend said, "yeah, so when i wear my comfortable pants (that i have yet to sew up), they call me a poser. it's so f*ing gay." i just said, "yeah."

yeah, so here's my thought and song of the day:
THOUGHT Kill two birds with one stone by feeding the homeless to the hungry.
SONG when the stripes performed this live it was incredible, i didnt see it live but the dvd sure gives a good impression of the feel. dig it, kats.

Video killed the radio star. If you try to stay fashionable, you'll follow wisps of images and traces of music. Dress as you wanna dress. Move with your personal rhythm. The rest will take care of itself. Don't look for yourself in anyone's eyes.
agreed, i just think it's sad that kids (im little more than one myself) cant think for AND dress themselves.
How do expect them to think? Their attention span has been shattered by TV. Their ever-shrinking vocabulary becomes more vulgar everyday. Mom's livin' with butch an' dads nowhere around. You want them to think? You seem to have perspective kid, use it to your advantage. Watch out for those whose "Tongue's on fire, gargles in the rat race chior bent outta shape by societies pliers".. who ..."doesn't wanna climb any higher" they just wanna drag you into their holes.
