Well, I just went out and picked up the new Morcheeba at the local record store(yes I am old school like that). Anyone who is a fan of the previous Morcheeba albums because of the awesome voice of Skye Edwards might be somewhat disappointed. This album, unlike most previous works uses pretty much a different singer on each song. The result is great, albeit it is not the same as previous efforts. I must admit however, I didn't like the Antidote at first because of the singer change (Daisy Martey's voice is great, but it was quite a departure from previous albums), but after a bit of listening I really have come to enjoy that album as well. You can still hear the wonderful Morcheeba sound beneath the different vocalists on every song, and all in all I think I will really enjoy this album as well.
Just my two cents. J.

I'll have close look at this album. Big Morcheeba fan over here, but I regard their first album as still their best - despite of some outstanding songs of the following albums. Morcheeba is to me more the Godfrey brothers than the singer, though Skye Edwards sure has an awesome voice.
