Got some good news today, press passes to Amy Winehouse, Lilly Allen, Bright Eyes at the Eden project in Cornwall this year with four more dates for different acts still to be announced. Not quite my taste but should be good fun. Apparently Arcade Fire were down to play as well but dropped out, their loss.Eden in Cornwall is a great venue. It's set in an old clay mine with huge "biomes" with a rainforest, complete with waterfall and insects in one, a desert in another and I can't remember what's in the other one, the Arctic probably. The domes make a great sci-fi backdrop (the gigs aren't inside them) they pulse with different colours as the band play, pretty spectacular. Really worked when super furry animals supported Air a year ago, or was it two. Muse, Snow Patrol, Goldfrapp played last year.Check out the venue for yourself.http://www.edenproject.com/arts/2689.htmlOn another note really enjoying the new Good Shoes album which has some very good advice for me: Think Before You Speak. Spoilt for choice on what track to choose but I'll choose this one. Morden is the suburban town they are from. No I'd never heard of it either. Ignore it says Marden on the player.
