Nothing prickly about Thistletown's first album

I admit I am a bit biased on this one as their boat is moored just down the road from me and I've met them a few times and they're lovely people. But their first album, named after the boat two of the band live on in Cornwall, is a cracker. From the opening drum rhythms of title track Rosemarie you can tell you're in for something pretty special. If I'd known then what I know now. 20million p

Thanks to Wasted Years for pointing me in the direction of The Acid Archives of Underground Sounds. A fantastic website for all your obscure Psychedelia * Garage * Folkrock * Hardrock * Weird. The reviews are great, done with a real dry sense of humour, if it's bad they'll let you know. There are some great fashion disasters pictured as well.Looking forward to a few hours cruising this littl
