Wouldnt It Be Good

So... yeah.The hiatus.I had intended on taking a couple of days rest & that lasted all of about... a few hours. Then I was back responding to all sorts of posts & well... you know the rest. When I tried to step away, I got pulled in even further. h1. DANG YOU MOGfather :) "+*lucy.*+":http://mog.com/lucyintheskies/blog_post/98106 is rocking an 80's movie tune on her one of her posts today & it got me to thinking about one of my favorite _one hit wonder tunes from a movie soundtrack_ from the 80's. One that, just like me, *KEEPS COMING BACK FOR MORE* :) Never lost touch with this song or this video... Now the version I have on my pod & on album is from Danny Hutton Hitters (an Irish lad), but it was originally recorded by Nik Kershaw & his video is one of my all time favorites to this day... nostalgic, maybe... but still I got great taste ;) I ask that you excuse the "dubbed one too many times" quality of the video... step back in time with me & with *lucy.*... you won't regret it, PROMISE. For those of you not old enough to have seen these films in the movie theatre... I am confident you've at least seen the TBS versions - if you don't care either way, h1. "Eat My SOCKS !!!!!"

& since, this wouldn't be a *lizzie's home again* post without them... sompin from my *_incorporated_* dayz ;P

Sex, Lies & Videotape... course can't find a good clip with a volume level you can hear... but you know the film... solidified James Spader as a stud in my book - even if I don't watch Boston Legal - the guy still does something for me - all because of this film !!!! *Dale:* I know... just can't stay away... I tried - but not that hard truth be told ;)

I only vaguely recall that Nick Kershaw song(was it in a movie?) but I know I've not seen the vid for it. I'd recall that blinding white suit he's sporting! And why did you have to hit us w/the Kids Inc. crap *AGAIN*, my eyes are burning now, damn you @ ; P !

Dale says Nik Kershaw isn't so swoon-worthy, but that song sure is. I remember many a dance punctuated by a dance with someone special to that song. Ah, memories.
