  2. Lizziegreeneyes says Sure you got it... but JayKay is rockin, nerd, Mr. Blue, hisself & the crossdressing SugarSpice... the making of for this video blows my mind... He really held on to the back of the convertable & refused to have CGI make the street feel longer - he found a longer street, poured rain most of the shoot, & of course all the make-up changes... good stuff ! Glad you dug it !!!

  5. I am says I ran into some mad critics of Jamoroqaui on MOG not to long ago. There I was all alone in a field of mellow harshers defending his sound. I for one think he's great and I have the disks to prove it. Great vid Liz, tanx.

  8. chucky says I haven't heard this one before, but Synkronized is one of my favorite summertime albums.

  9. Lizziegreeneyes says *Ash...* we gotta talk - there is so much more than Synk - personally I like most of the others better than Synk... we'll compare notes - just don't tell the teacher !!!

  12. Lizziegreeneyes says Funk Odyssey, Dynamite, Emergency on Planet Earth, Return of the Space Cowboy. these are all better to equal to synk. Course - t'smy opinion & you know what they say bout those...

  13. Augusts1 says Yes, I'd have to agree, Jamiroquoi is pretty damn awesome. I have all their cds up to Synkronized & love em all. I got distracted after that but still love me some Jay Kay. Btw, what happened to you on the durrrrty posts? Guess you couldn't hang w/the big boys huh!!! Oh well, & here I thought you were the one & only woman who could keep up w/Troy, Kev & me.

  14. chucky says I will dutifully look those up. I know what they say about opinions and it's always confused me. I'm a gemini so I'm often of two minds on things....the implication there is scary...haha.

  15. Lizziegreeneyes says I fully intend to... I can't for the life of me get the damn song up that will seal the deal... of course none of you will help explain how I convert to an MP3 - cuz you are all shaking in your adidas... shelltops if I'm not mistaken ;) I'm gonna see what I can do for next week - start studying up on the dirrrrrrrrrrty - it's just sooooo hard when there isn't anyone here to help me practice ;)

  18. Augusts1 says That's pretty bad when you have to *start* studying up to get dirty. We done left you behind in the dust, lol! I just watched both of those vids & that first one is incredible. Jay definitely has the moves. I just wish they'd pushed the envelope more musically, since that's why I lost interest, it was just the same ol' same ol' after 4-5 albums.

  19. ciphermedia says First vid is great! But I'm afraid I'm with August on the musical front, Lizzie. All feels the same to me. BTW, are you on a mac or pc? If you're on a mac, mogmail me & I'll give you a few pointers on converting to or from mp3s

  20. Lizziegreeneyes says *August & Jonathan:* I totally hear what you're both saying... but the albums after travelling w/o moving - those have grown on me - also helps to see him perform those songs live. Seems so often for me, even songs I'm not a fan of originally - I see them live & I am transformed :) But, yes - he definitely got stuck in a little bit of a rut musically speaking. Dynamite - you guys listened to that one yet, a few throw aways sure - the rest of it I think is **really** tight. He needs to heed our wishes & push the envelope no doubt. But I'd follow the guy anywhere - both shows I've been to - he's mesmerizing. Stick any of his albums on in the car... & I jet to my destination fully enveloped in FUNK !!! You both can't deny that: *_Music of the Mind_* isn't fecking brillilant though right ???? *Jonathan:* you're the best... I am hoping to get my hands on a macbook this Christmas, I've had it with the pc world. I could probably get some sort of tutorial somewhere - I mean - this *_is_* the web ;)

  22. moovyphreak says I'd never seen this video either... The guy in the purple suit is creepy.

  23. Lizziegreeneyes says Sposed to be - that indigo candyman is Senor El Diablo... The make-up artists earned their paychecks for this video.

  24. TroyPowers says That's a damned good groove. I've been sleeping on Jamiroquai for a good 12 years now. I bought the Space Cowboy album, but was disappointed when the title cut on the album didn't have the deep bass that the video version did. But, I loved the album. Then, I think I bought the one with cosmic girl, but didn't really get into it. Other than that, I don't even think I've heard any of their music except for Canned Heat, which I loved. Maybe I'll give 'em a second shot.

  26. TroyPowers says And there's something to be said for consistent world rocking.
