MCR's latest video's coming out today at 3:30pm EDT ... here's hoping the put it up on Youtube ASAP ...Say what you want bout my JERSEY boyz, they put on one of the better shows I've seen in a LONG time - and take a look at my MOGpage if you think I haven't seen enough shows to say that. *I LOVES ME SOME MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE* Don't care who knows it ... (uh yeah lizzie... obviously... we aren't complete idiots - in fact we MOGgers are quite intelligent for the most part... there are "SOME":http://mog.com/Rawkkiddo, who might be a bit questional *_nuttin but love for you Teach ;P I know youse a smartie_*, but by in large an extremely intelligent group o' folk) !Yeah - that's right - so allow me to send up a snazzy video before it hits MTV ... I dedicate this to Rawkkiddo - cuz he digs this kindo video :)This one's all for me ... love this song - *near perfect* one in my book - sure nothing can hold a candle to the original -Bowie & Mercury ... but I really dig this cover in tribute to the killer song that it is :)

  1. TroyPowers says Shit, the little fuckers scare me too. Was watching on the news while in the gym that a manager at Wendy's got shot because he didn't give a guy enough chili sauce. WTF?!!? Man, we need another free love movement. We need to cure aids, so we can just have a decade of just fucking, getting high, and fucking. I believe that would set the world straight. :) Oh, cool song, by the way.

  3. Rawkkiddoh says Ha, a video dedication for me, how sweet. I loved the video, and really liked the song. I feel that should be the national anthem for all high school teachers. The second, a great cover of a great song. They released it as a single, and I have the mp3 if you ever want the original recording. Just trying to remain the coolest guy you know for right now

  4. TroyPowers says Awwww, yeah! President Powers! I like the sound of that. And my first executive decision, appointing Anna as director of the department of O & O. Second move, making body-matic an acceptable form of currency. :)

  11. darmuzz says Lizzie, I am a fan of both MCR and The Used. Who knew! Are you diggin The Bird and The Worm? I liked the Under Pressure video, makes me nostalgic for when Gerard and Bert were buddeez. Speaking of which, I think Bert's going blond was an even bigger shock to me than Gerard! Here's The Used's new quickie video:

  12. Mike the Knife says Not a big fan of the two groups (prefer MCR to The Used), but really liked the live team-up on the cover of "Under Pressure." Lotsa feeling there.

  13. Lizziegreeneyes says darmuzz ... I don't have anything by The Used (I only knew of them via the MCR GWay feud & via this song) - that being said - I really liked that video & the song - very catchy ! Is the album worthy of a purchase or stop by multiply ??? Do tell !!! I agree Mike - lotsa feeling in that cover - these boys are OBVIOUS fans of both musicians ... how could you not be though ??? ;)

  14. darmuzz says I don't have Lies for the Liars yet but "In Love and Death" is well worth buying. Fits in pretty well with 3 Cheers.

  15. Lizziegreeneyes says Sounds good to me ... will def look into it ... if you pick up Lies for the Liars - you'll give me an update ??? :) Wait what I meant to say was ... _your eyes are very sleepy - you WILL give me an update once you've picked up Lies for the Liars, when I snap my fingers (three in a "Z" formation) you will come out of hypnosis & desperately crave giving me a review once you've purchased Lies for the Liars !_ ;P

  17. Lizziegreeneyes says *Ash:* The album that I think you might dig the most would be their roughest, soundwise, great hooks. I came to the party a little late - but so made up for lost time ... I would check out the tracks on "I Brought You My Bullets ...", Then comes "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge", a little more polished still edgy & rough. The Black Parade is their latest - by far the most polished - but for a fairly young band to put out a concept album as impressive as theirs ... is, well ... impressive ;P In all seriousness, I was skeptical. I am a believer in the old school new wave (sorry Anna) _emo_tionally driven brit rock of my day - DM, JD, NO, Smiths, Cure etc ... these new kids I didn't give much notice to ... then I got hooked by the melody of a Panic! At The Disco song & figured - if I'm getting the boys from LVNV - then I really should give the Jersey boyz a listen ... YAY me !!! Panic are grade-schoolers in comparison to MCR (IMO) - I think they have promise as well - but their lyrics just plain suck ... the hooks are borderline kindergarten, the music much more fun & palatable to suit my taste :) It's funny, I jammed out to Panic for a week or two - got bored & finally put in MCR ... HOLY SHIZZNIZZLE Batman, am I glad I did - it didn't leave my cd player in the car for 2-3 months ... (well once, but that was to get it to the pod ... doesn't count) ;P Lemme know Ash - I can get them up on multiply - I'm Not Okay is on Three Cheers. I also have the live disc ... so really - what choo want, I gotz - yo _lizzie_ you got the Motts, Yeah Ash, I got the Motts ;P I have a post bout the Jersey Boys I'll link "HERE":http://mog.com/Lizziegreeneyes/blog_post/54747 ...

  18. darmuzz says Aww c'mon, lizzieg, now I am going to have to go out and buy Lies just so I can review it for you... If you don't mind me cutting into your cross-talk, I think that whole group of bands like Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, Cute is What We Aim For and The Academy Is, are all very cute and very much more pop-oriented than either MCR or The Used. Both MCR and The Used have done some ballads and radio-friendly singles, but their harder stuff is that much harder than some other pop punk bands, and that's why I like them (along with AFI and Billy Talent.)

  19. Lizziegreeneyes says darmuzz: you know *_I would never_* (purdy green eyes batting uncontrollably) put you in that position ;P In all seriousness... don't run out and grab it on my account ! Wouldn't dream of it... if you come across it later - let me know (I have so much NEW music thanks to this site - music I have YET to listen to) I am in NO rush. Would love to hear your take on it - if & when. My hypnosis skills are WAY better than I thought (the 19.95 was WELL worth it) ;) I would wholeheartedly afree to your cross-talk cut in line :) ... I can't even listen to Fall Out Boy - 'cept for one song that I didn't even know they sang until Rawkkiddo posted about them stealing ideas for a song from a tshirt. When I went to check out their profiles on the gle to the goo, I found a song I had been looking for for several years now. That is the beginning, middle & end of my appreciation. Once I put The Black Parade in my CD player - I really haven't listened to Panic since - lest it comes on when on shuffle - I won't say the tunes aren't catchy - but the lyrics leave me wanting & now woman wants to be left that way - it happens - but not cuz we want it to happen ! As I have stated - I want a band to change it up - if The Used/MCR only rocked the hard stuff - I'd wonder what they'd sound like if they loved me as they did yesterday - that's not something I want either ! Radio-friendly singles pay the bills - sure I love when a band refuses to give in regardless, but I promise NEVER to slight a band for having the intellect to play the system to their advantage - I haven't done so yet !!! I love Incubus - no hiding that fact - I absolutely like their first two albums better than the last 4, but I enjoy those albums as well. I adore Faith No More - they never gave in to the labels pressures... who's right or wrong - both & both (IMO). So many of the actors/actresses I admire pull that same stunt. For me to say I don't bow at the feet of Johnny Depp for never giving in to - well after the Pirates franchise, he's somewhat moot - but he's gone on record as saying he did it for his kids & lord knows he was expecting - as would most of us - to be fired on his first days at the set for his cross-dressingy, eye-lined Keith Richardsy dreadlocked pirate of Jack Sparrow. River Phoenix was of that same stock - didn't do a film to make money - it was art to him. Do I respect them highly for the strength of their convictions - absofrigginlutely - will that make me think that Matt Damon doesn't deserve it because he did Stuck on You & Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back (I loved both those films - but understand they are not deeply thought-provoking films that make all sorts of deep philosophical comments about the world & my place in it). Those films did what they were supposed to do, they made me laugh, quite a bit infact & let my brain take a breather - this doesn't happen often - I sometimes take over an hour to unwind at night after I get in bed - my mind never stops running. I am all about the My Architect's, The Good Shepard's & Brokeback Mountain's of the cinematic world, but sometimes I want dick & fart jokes & I want them in spades - when this happens, I get my friend Deb & we hightail it to Nat Lampoon's Van Wilder or Dumb & Dumberer - not as bad as I expected - but NO Jeff Daniels !!! When I want to be challenged - I grab my Mum & we go to see The Squid & the Whale... I'm lucky I have multiple people to go to the movies with - otherwise, I'd be seeing a lot of movies alone :) You brought up some great points - did I cover all of them... I'ma go with... ah yeah !!!!! ;P
