Still got quite a few CDs to get on the *Lizzie's iPod*, but this afternoon I passed the 10,000 mark ... *10,035* to be exact ... I will fill this contraption with music/videos/Episodes of The Black Donnellys (how in the Hell did that show get cancelled - what a bunch of nincompoops), if it's the last thing I do ... or it will be my *_Famous Last Words_* ...I _Get So Emotional Baby_ (I know, Shut UP, just shut up, shut up), ... when it comes to my iPod that is ... or the cancellation of The Black Donnellys ;) Dang bastards ... NBC you can ...*_NBC is requiring an Emergency Interruption of the above MOGpost - Please go about your business ... or Tommy Donnelly will Nine Inch Nail your arse all the way back to Hell's Kitchen. Thank you & good day._*

  1. Mike the Knife says That Whitney is bat-shit crazy. Make Maya Rudolph's impression seem cool, calm, and collected. BTW, "The Black Donnellys"? Um...meh. It got cancelled because of bad ratings - worse numbers than the show it replaced, "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" (which, I'll admit, I actually liked for the sharp cast and dialogue and despite its heavy-handedness and half-ass attempts at comedy).

  2. moovyphreak says Yeah, I could only stand about 2 episodes of <>The Black Donnellys before I tuned out. And while it was upsetting to see Studio 60 Get Canned, on a dramatic level, it paled in comparison to its creators predecessor, The West Wing. The show that I was upset that NBC canned too quickly due to poor viewership was Kidnapped, which I was able to finish watching this past week, via Netflix.

  3. Lizziegreeneyes says I also *ADORED* Studio 60 - & The West Wing's predecessor - *Sports Night* ... That was my *FAVORITE* - Josh Charles, Peter Krause, Felicity Huffman ... & that other guy - who was also in The West Wing - how could you go wrong. I know tBD was not well received ... what can I say ... I like what I like ;) - _regardless_ of ratings & numbers ... plus Tommy Donnelly was so totally smokin'. Say what you will, he has the "map of Ireland" all over his face, & those cheekbones, dark curly hair & eyes ... *_SWOON_* !!!! I know the premise was crap ... but I'm a sucker for an Irish lad ... this one had _*FOUR*_ :) Every single male face I saw in Ireland last year, even the elderly ones, I just loved ...

  4. Rawkkiddoh says I am with mike on this one, I was pretty upset to see Studio 60 get canned. Actually I did not even know it had happened until now. I caught a few episodes of the Black Donnellys, and I did like it as well. I do find that I spend more time watching re-runs of older comedy shows, rather than a lot of the new ones that have come out. I still love Cheers and MASH, and can watch them anytime they are on. if you dont agree with me, well Whitney has a message for you.............

  6. Lizziegreeneyes says iTunes has all of them ... supposedly NBC does as well ... but I'm not representing NBC ... we have a very *stormy* past ;P

  7. tybees says Bah! I can't imagine paying for each episode via iTunes, and I watched a few of them online at nbc.com, but the quality is kinda lacking....one of my favorite things is to rent an entire season of one show and watch it all in one sitting. I suppose I could try to torrent them all, but I'm too lazy :)

  9. Misstee says NBC is in trouble - the only show they have thats doing well is Heroes and they pay a fortune for it.
