Russian Hill... Where's my car when I need it

Posted about 1 year ago
Right now... 4:30 can't come soon enough - I am listening to *Jellyfish's Russian Hill* & I just want to be behind the wheel of my car drivin home...Sure, I am trying my best not to go above the speed limit - not for the sake of safety - for the sake of gas... it cost me $50 to fill up late last week & I want to conserve that expensive elixir that makes cars go.But were it not for the cost, were it not for the fact that I got a half hour left at work - I'd be behind the wheel of my blue jetta, hitting the twisty roads of Rt. 282 taking in the beauty of Marsh Creek & a sunny day with stormclouds on the horizon...MAN DO I LOVE THIS SONG !!!& just cuz I likes you & loves Jellyfish... here is Bye Bye Bye... live and brilliant...*w00t* BANJO !!!

  6. Bartleby says I was going to "boycott" your yellow/orange button but the "industrial action" is over :p Speaking of gasoline prices, you should see what is going right in England. Lorry drivers have staged fuel protest over the increasing gas prices. Who said that "industrial action" wasn't trendy. (BBC News article here) Drive home safely.

  16. Groon says I saw info today about a future car called the Aptera, which is supposed to cost around $30,000 and get 300 miles to the gallon. Expensive car, but right now the trade off seems worth it.

  17. Lizziegreeneyes says @Space Groon... I'd gladly shell out 30,000 if it meant 300 miles per gallon !!! The savings would totally make it worthwhile !!!

  18. Marigold says not sure the next time i will be out your way, but if you visit your friend in WI we can try to get together. fear not, we shall meet again in the wonderful southwest. (got my tix in the mail while on vacation) victory was so fun. you really went above the call of duty and rocked us with that tour. i am brewing up a post on that.... chuck. i really would have liked a car like that on vacation. doing a road trip out to the east coast was pretty spendy in the gas department. i think we averaged out around 3.95 a gallon. Gas in DC was a whopping 4.39 a gallon! i don't remember taking this picture. i believe it was right before heather took the camera away from me... ...maybe it was because i caught her blowing her nose? i can't believe i did not have more of a hangover the next day.
