As I sit here at work... listening to the lovely tunage my ipod shuffles just for me, I am struck by how much I missed you guys !!! I am still recovering, but I am back & ready for action, who's with me ?!?Let's see... during my hiatus, I listened to music sporadically at best, mostly slept & watched movies & slept some more. When I did listen to music, I found even more comfort in the arms of the bands I love. *Alice in Chains*, sweeter than *Rooster* stew, *Wallflowers*, at least two *Headlights* of goodness shining into my eardrums, *Foo Fighters*, more poignant, just like coming *Home* & thanks to Pekka, *Joy Division* who just plain kept me happy in my *Isolation*. I really wasn't able to check out much in the way of new tunage, not for lack of desire, it was just plain harder to keep up with you all so I lagged behind. I did latch onto *The Gutter Twins* though, thanks again going out to Pekka for his MOGpost & I've been completely thrilled with that combo... way better than the pretzel-cheese version if you asked me. (Wait... you didn't. Ooops sorry, I guess I am preening away on that one).& as of today, Coachella is 21 days away !!! This, does not mean that I want to see 21, I think that one can wait til video... but I'd bet my last dime in my piddling savings account (not touching my 401K mind you) that I am gonna have the time of my life with the other fair MOGgers who will be in attendence at the festival. Hot Heat with *Hot Chip* & the *Verve* & a few others you may or may not have heard of... Roger Waters will be there, I'm sure I know that name from somewhere ;PSo I am back kiddies... huggies & kissies all around. Man is it good to be back !!!If you haven't already done so - plan on seeing Control when it comes out on video - lifechanging that film was for me... So I send this out to my sick *Dead Soul* & toast the newer, improved, healthier Lizzieness to come ;)
