Happy Valentine's Day! Hope you are enjoying today - My Valentines this year are the Chili Peppers, as I watched them (in the flesh) on the red carpet at the Brits tonight, I wish I could transfer the images in my head of the nanosecond of eyecontact I had with Anthony, and the big smile I got of Chad (though I think he was more smiling/laughing at me than to me as I was being crushed and dragged sideways by the crowd) - they were visibly relaxed and happy and that's the best thought I'd want for anyone....

Rawk - There was no 5 string bass, but dinner and a cool pair of shoes. I love shoes. they are red and sparkley. yaaaaaaaay. Someone played a Mother Love Bone song on the jukebox at dinner which made me all warm and gushy inside. Oh and some random guy at work came up and gave me a heart shaped cupcake. My boss gave me a box of those hearts with words on them.
Jo - 4 grammys!! They did pretty good for themselves. Did you watch the show? John was so cute stumbling over his words during his acceptance speech. He's adorable.

Great they picked up 4 Grammys, they aired the Grammy Awards on British TV the night before last and guess what they did.... they edited RHCP out! Can you believe that! All that was left were a few shots of the gentlemen sitting in the audience, any bits that may have contained them getting on stage to accept an award or to perform were EDITED OUT....! I couldn't believe I'd been sitting watching this for 2 hours for THAT! (Mind you, I did love Mary J Blige's performance.)
They were only up for 1 Brit Award last night (Best International Group), but they missed out on that to The Killers... ah well... it was fab to see them in person, in the flesh on the red carpet, even though it was only very shortly, it was clear they were relaxed and content and together as a band.
