This is an amazing album...the very fact that Buzzcocks are still putting out great music for over thirty years is incredible. The fact that their latest album eclipses their previous work of three decades is unbelievable. This is rock: aggressive, yet bittersweet. Cathartic, yet cerebral. Energetic, intense and passionate throughout the album, you can't help but feel every song is teetering on the brink: tense, anxious and urgent. Even if you don't prefer punk (or punk-pop as the case may be) if you don't rock out to this album, you have no soul.
