  1. lucyintheskies says i saw them the summer before, or maybe even the one before that. it was my first experience sitting in the grass at a concert. my friend's car kept breaking down all the way there, but we made it. this was my favorite song they did: i was a sophmore going on to be a junior (so yeah, it was '85). i loved michael hutchence. thanks for the memory. lucy.

  4. moovyphreak says I was 8 in 1987, but I do remember this song and the video (especially the "Mediate" part). INXS is one of my favorite 80s bands... it's a shame that Hutchence went off the deep end and killed himself.

  7. Dale says Since we're confessing ages (and I won't be the oldest), I was 18 when this album came out, and "Need You Tonight" was EVERYWHERE. I still liked it a lot, though.

  8. Mike the Knife says Vintage INXS still rocks my world. And yup, it was sad/pathetic what happened with Hutchence. What a waste.

  9. chucky says Yum. Heh. This is the second album I owned and I've bought it several times over the years as I've lost copies. And, I can honestly say it wasn't just because Michael Hutchence was every 12 year old girl's fantasy.
