I damn almost forgot it was Sunday, so here we go peoples, and oh by the way yeah a big welcome back if you please for "Dale":http://mog.com/Dale, and his sis, "Anna":http://mog.com/Anna without whom Mog just wouldn't be Mog. Oh yeah, the cover. Probably the best cover of a Beatles song I have heard. Ever. Really. I can hardly believe it myself, what, with all the multitudinous covers of Scrambled Eggs and Something that are floating around out there, but yeah. it is.

Lizziegreeneyes says Gives me chills... Loved the Pixies - never got into the bands since... again - rethinking things. Lester - stop it ! Seriously, I am not able to keep up with all this good music ;P First is Badly Drawn Boy - now I gotta get the Breeders, & I guess that means some Frank Black - cuz I can't have him thinking I sided with Kim in the break ;)

Lester Jonze says You know Lizz I never really got the Pixies. I totally respect their greatness and all, but I was never into them. I remember them being all popular and important to people when I was in high school, but it was never for me. Now though, as their catalog is on Emusic, I am trying to educate myself... Sometimes I really hate playing catchup

Lamicus says Agreed, great cover tune...ranks right up there with their cover of A-Smith's "Lord of the Thighs." Also, I got to see the Pixies on their comeback tour, in Saskatoon SK (Winnipeg was sold out). Phenomenal show, in an agricultural hall, and Kim butchered 'Saskatoon' ("We've never been in...Satchatoose.") I also got a phone number that night, but it made no difference, as I was married. Stupid Saskatoon girls.
