  5. Lizziegreeneyes says All I wanna know is who's gonna take me in when all I have left is a thermos, chair, paddle, desk lamp & my robe ???

  6. Lizziegreeneyes says ohhh... & all my CDs as well ;) That should count for something...

  7. Lester Jonze says Ha! The door is always open. You'll fit right in with the rest of the nuts round here.

  9. Lizziegreeneyes says *Lester:* this one is for you ;) ... _"[singing] I'm picking out a Thermos for you. Not an ordinary Thermos for you. But the extra best Thermos that you can buy, with vinyl and stripes and a cup built right in."_ *moovy:* It's time for us to step up to the _*"Boy(s)*"_ plate & it's _*About a*_ time ;)

  10. Lester Jonze says Yikes, I'll be on the lookout for that.

  11. Lizziegreeneyes says May not like Hummer - AT ALL - shoot them with my eyelasers anytime I see them on the road, I can't say I would stop listening to someone based on that alone. That's just the way I roll in my piece of shoe VW.

  12. doombilly says Well you know there are so many artists to choose from. I think it is pretty easy to avoid someone who would take a check from AMG to glorify the worst vehicle on the road...especially hypocrites.
"There's a lot of the environment being damaged by us conveniencing ourselves with whatever technology or gadget there is and it's potentially damaging"..: Damon Gough
    yeah...Well...
"I could retire tomorrow and never have to work again, but I'm compelled to write music because it's what I've always done." Damon Gough
So basically he HAS enough money. He's not in it for the money except..wait, is the ^%&$# for the environment or Hummer. I am confused. I for one hope he keeps smoking. I suck

  13. Lizziegreeneyes says Trust me, I hear you - I do... But the Rolling Stones have more money that GOD & they still do commercial spots... where do I draw a line - I really don't want to - for me to do so with one - I'd feel like I'd have to do so with the rest. D. Gough certainly needs to get his priorities straightened out - do you want more money - or do you want to stand behind a cause... I think so often someone supports something cuz it's trendy. You have certain people backing their words with actions - he's not rockin that at all. (I still dig the music - but I really do hear where you're coming from... there is plenty of tuneage out there to keep me busy) !!!

  14. darmuzz says I just heard Bewilderbeast for the first time about a month ago and it blew me away! Have heard that his latest release is kind of "Springsteenish" though...I am afraid to listen to it.

  15. Lizziegreeneyes says Springsteen never did it for me - lyrics brilliant - vocals - subpar !!!

  16. doombilly says Thanks for listening to my rant anyway Lizzie. Meh. Rolling Stones. I have some CDs left over from my first wife. I cannot say I ever bought any for myself. Has anything they've done been relevant in the last several decades? They are more like one of those Disney Animatronic rides. Rolling Stones of the Flying Tea Cup Caribbean. Look Keef falls out of a palm tree three times a day and twice on sunday. /rant2

  17. Lizziegreeneyes says Old school Stones - they thrill me - but I have to be in the right mood - they were far darker & dirtier that the Beatles in the beginnings when Love Me Do made me wanna Love Me DON'T ;) Plus the Kinks never really got their due... it's a pick and choose game !!! But yeah anything past a certain point late 70s early 80s Stones... I don't bother. Time for the Steel Wheelchair Tour to end ;P
