Songs In My Head

That I can't get out. Almost every morning there is a song playing in my head, full volume. Some day there is some good REM sleep imagery attatched to it which wakes me up, some days when my eyes open I'm in mid song.     Rawkkiddoh says I never get that, usually wake up to the same damn bird chirping away. I do get soundtracks to my dreams though, and for this I am happy

    mktackabery says I have the same problem!! I don't always remember what song was in my head first thing though. Sometimes the song will keep cropping up every morning until I finally listen to it, and it goes away again. This morning I woke up and "Impossible Germany" was in my head (Wilco), so I listened to it on the way to work.
