   newform says Corgan seems to have taken a lot of shit over the years but I really want to believe that he has a lot more left in him. You know how it goes, sell a lot of records and you will have to suffer a period of reduced street cred. In 1991 Gish was a goddamn revelation when M.C. Hammer and Vanilla Ice were camped out on every other station on the radio. Don't try and deny it. Go back and listen to Siamese Dream on a good pair of headphones at volume....one of the best Headphone Records of all time. Butch Vig and Billy Corgan were a magical production combination. Mellon Collie was a great effort but I still miss that incredible sound that Butch Vig managed to capture from the Pumpkins.
