This an incredible mesmerism by music. I've never heard of Kahimi Marie before but I'm under her spell and for the foreseeable future.
I agree with you regarding crate digging. I love the high one gets from loitering in a record shop, looking for nothing in particular but with a hunch that you'll find it eventually. -- Nothing beats that for me except when I'm in a bookshop in Charing Cross, I get more hysteric than 1,000 women doing the sales in Topshop.
Thanks again for the incredible Kahimi.

This is excellent -- I meant to reply to your comment back on Multi and am glad you posted this song on MOG.
Let's get that boat rocking.

Ya know. i find it difficult to find any more humour in the wreck of the "Fitzgerald" than i do in that of the Lifeship "Mona" or the sinking of the "Reuben James".
They found the "Fitzgerald" on the bottom a while back, and it turns out that what happened to her was what i'd guessed (exacerbated by the fact that she had been stretched by something like fifty feet by welding in a new section of hull - she got caught between two wave peaks and broke her back, which is not uncommon for the ore boats that carry dense cargoes and have to be long for their width to work the canals and seways and locks.
Speaking of the "Mona", i feel a post coming on...
