On Thursday July 5, 2007 my good friend and former baseball teammate Cpl. Jeremy Allbaugh was killed in the al Anbar province of Iraq, he was 21 years old. Itâ€™s strange, Iâ€™ve been friends with him since the seventh grade and that was the first time I ever referred to him as Jeremy, I always called him â€œAllballâ€, and he always responded to it. I feel sorry for the people that didnâ€™t know him, because they missed out on getting to know a once and a lifetime guy. slrevare says I am sorry for your loss. He sounds like a great man. I wanted to say thank you for the sacrifice you, his family, and his other friends have made. Those people are doing our dirty work and I respect them for it.
