On Thursday July 5, 2007 my good friend and former baseball teammate Cpl. Jeremy Allbaugh was killed in the al Anbar province of Iraq, he was 21 years old. Last week I enjoyed the music of Austin based blues artist Guy Forsyth at The Blue Door in Oklahoma City. He took the stage at 9 pm and played until 12:45 am making it one of the longest and best sets I’ve ever seen. He played a slew of instruments and one carpentry tool (the saw) with great precision.
