I love when I seek one thing and find something unexpected and wonderful. this was the case Monday night. I ventured to hear Deerhunter and found Six Parts Seven. What a wonderful mellow and cool vibe. I'm not sure how to describe their music other than instrumental, beautiful, relaxed, unexpected, layered, and just what I needed...oh, and I did in fact see Deerhunter. Unfortuantely they had technical difficulties so the sound was crap. I did enjoy the set despite the sound issues. I hope to get another opportunity to have a proper listen when both the equipment and band are fully functioning.
