Empire of the Sun's "Walking on a Dream". Wow - what can I say!? This song is AMAZING. I can listen to it any time. Over and over. Gives me the chills. It was an instant LOVE. On my way home from Ireland earlier this year, I watched the video on repeat for at least half the trip - to California (LONG ASS FLIGHT). Anyway, just had to give the song a shout-out. I dig it!

So, last night was Omissa's LAST SHOW EVER. It was at Blake's in Berkeley (which sucks for short people - like me - since the stage is on the same level as the floor), and the show sold out fast. The band rocked. They ended the show with "Apples" and the crowd was going WILD!It was a great run for one of the GREATEST local bands from out here in the cuts. :) Hope they play again together one day.
