Wonderfully sentimental

Artist:
I'm not a particularly romantic person. Songs that are overly sentimental, or too full of pathos, are not my cup of tea. But there are exceptions. Those songs that regardless of sentimentality or pathos still find their way into my heart, tend to be the songs that I love the most. Samantha Jones' How Do You Say Goodbye is such a song. Almost embarrassing about lost love, it still melts my heart. Maybe I am a romantic after all. Are you?

This arragement sounds something like the early songs that Marianne Faithfull recorded with the underappreciated producer Mike Leander. That is a very, very good thing. Of course, we're talking about a very different voice...
I'm a fan of Marianne as well. I think the producer of Sam's song must be Charles Blackwell, allthough I can't say for certain.
