So music has always been a huge part of my life. I play three intstruments, four if you include singing. I'm by no means a prodigee, I just love music. Any kind really, from Frank Sinatra to Dave Matthews. I blame it on my parents for taking me to all those musicals as a kid. I become obsessed with Andrew Loyd Webber's musical Cats at age 9. I became obsessed with Dizzy Gillespe and Charlie Parker at age 12, along with Weird Al. But really what kid before puberty didn't like Yankovic? Then my brother, the corrputer of my youth and innocence introdcued me to Eddie Vedder and the wonderful world of alcohol. It's all down hill from there. Sometimes I just pick up my guitar and dick around on it. I don't even try to learn songs now. I just like the sound.

Yea this entire thing may be kind of lame but I don't know you and you don't know me so I guess I don't really care what you think. Because now, I'm in a band...well sort of. Were more of comedy act, hense the name Seriously Funny =]. I'm probably the only one serious about the music. But we have five songs, and that's something, not to mention 141 fans according to facebook. I doubt we'll ever be big, though it would be sweet. What broke college student doesn't want to make it big so academics and responsibility can be left behind. I know I do. Anyhow. I suppose I'll be posting more, giving updates, or ranting at the lack of good music nowadays. I've heard enough renditions of the same song to last me life time. Lets come up with something new other than "The Climb" or "Right Round". Even the mashups are better. Peace out guys, keep reading, or listening.
