   Launce says Ha! Yes. Although they seemed to take to Vegas well... actually one of the best shows I have seen in many a year. Although I've lived and worked for many years on the left coast or thereabouts, I've always grooved towards a NYC-East Coast vibe more than the SoCal sounds, all the way back to the Velvets, the Ramones, the Dictators, Richard Hell and Blondie. Not sure why. It was funny at the G/B show: I don't think most of the youngins knew (or cared, certainly) that they were listening to souped up Jewish folk music...

   Hermes says I'd love to see Gogol Bordello live. They even reveal such an enourmous energy, when I'm listening to them through my stereo ... . If you shouldn't have seen the movie "Everything Is Illuminated" - watch it. The singer of Gogol Bordello is one of the main characters and that film is hilarious. Got known to Gogol Bordello through exactly this movie.
