Burn Rubber for Love

Posted over 4 years ago
Are you in love? Then get on your bike and ride. At least that's what The Bicycles recommend. It's not only good for you, it's good for the planet. This twisty little floor stomper is making me think of riding my bike around the city late at on a warm summer night after a concert. And I need that happy vision as it is still winter here on the middle coast of the U.S. Grey, snowy, bleh. But in my mind while listening to this song, the song melts and my hair is flying behind me as I coast downhill. Wheeeee! Here's the hot rubber on the Bicycles:The Bicycles are a Canadian five-piece indie pop band based in Toronto. Their debut album, The Good, The Bad and The Cuddly was released May 30th, 2006. Before the album was even released they had already ventured out on tour with UK popsters The Boy Least Likely To and just recently finished another US tour with Henri Faberge and the Adorables."Check out their website":http://www.thebicycles.ca/index.html

  5. Lady Miss Ian says Hi Dale - I was pleasantly surprised myself. Especially with an album title like "The Good, The Bad and the Cuddly." I wasn't expecting the garage-y sound. SunnyD - You're a naughty girl. ;-) Sturg - Danke! You rock on a consistent basis, too. GMO - Maybe we could get Mike the Knife busy on finding someone to do a mash-up of this and the Queen song. I could kind of see it.
