I actually got a ticket in advance of a show. Do you believe it? I didn't wait until the day of, convincing myself "Oh, they'll still have tickets at the door" or "The line won't be that long." I'm giving myself a (santo)gold star for planning ahead.
I'm quite excited to see Ms. Santogold / Santigold / Santi White, cuz I'm still rather fresh to her music, and hoping for that surprise factor that happens at shows when you don't know every song. I'm hoping to listen to this show with objective ears. I'm also hoping to dance and sweat. It's summer in Minneapolis!

What can i say? I hope you have a great time. Santogold, (et al, lol) are said to be awesome as a live show.

Hey Gents - thanks for dropping by. I feel a little bad about such a self-indulgent post, but hey! Why not.
Great show. I particularly enjoyed Ms. Santi's "Robot Clone" back-up singers/dancers. They were fabulous. We decided to go fashionably late and miss the warm ups, so the night seemed to go by quickly. Old hipster that I am, I love shows that get out by 10pm.
And, Rawk, can I get an Amen for it being 70 degrees (and not humid) at 11pm? It's about damn time. ;-)
I hope you drove home with the windows down.......my favorite thing to do once the weather gets nice
