Wednesday "Artist Roulette" on the Pod
-
Artist:
Here's a little game I decided to play from 9am to noon today. I might call it "Manual Shuffle Mode".
1. Go to the Artist menu of your Pod
2. "Spin" the wheel without looking.
3. Whoever it lands on, you must listen to.
I think I just needed to inject an element of randomness into my day. Perhaps the list contains a hidden, mystical message? Perhaps not. Here are the results:
Death By Chocolate
Editors
Fredda
The Ettes
Red Simpson
SOLI Chamber Ensemble
Sebastien Tellier
Ryno & Slim Gutta
Mark Mallman
MGMT
New Bloods
Lank of Talk
Kenan Bell
Flowers of Forever
Donovan
LZ Love
One Day as a Lion
Pink Bomb
The Raveonettes

listening at random is the only way I can do it. Like you I like the element of surprise in my day!
Hi Rawk -- Yep, it's the only way I get to some of the stuff on my pod. My shuffle songs setting seems to always get stuck in the same group of songs, so I kind of like doing the shuffle myself.
Also, I just wanted an excuse to make a post on the new MOG. :-)
I have to do this with iTunes, since my shuffle is only 8 GB's, and it always seems to play the same things. But I'm constantly surprised...
Hi CB - Glad to know it's not just my pod. I'll love to know what the Shuffle Songs criteria is, cuz it donut make sense to me.
I just manual shuffled up a motivation podcast I must have downloaded a while ago. Well, gotta follow the rules -- if I dialed it up, I've got to listen to it.
I am totally mogging it up up in here...
I was looking for an excuse as well, I kind of like this new stuff
Hey C-Six -- Way to Mog it up. ;-) I don't know why, but that phrase makes me think of the scene in Monsters Inc. where the big blue monster throws the little eyeball monster a can of "Odorant" and says "Here you go. Stink it up."
I, too, shall be Mogging it up.
Yes, I'm getting to know the new Mog look and layout. Funny, I just joined the ubiquitous Facebook, so I understand some folks comments about the similiarities.
So far I like this post, but for me the "Roulette Rhumba" play button is gray and inoperative. I've tried reloading current page, and also quitting and returning, all to no avail. Is it just me?
Not just you, Spikey. It's MOG. ;-)
Or it's Flash on MOG.
