As music goes, Blutengel pulled me in primarily because of the vocals and the underlying music that propels them. In a way, I consider Blutengel to be the B-horror movie of song lyrics, sometimes they could be a little better, but overall they certainly strike a chord in my Gothic Romance novel loving heart. Especially The Oxidising Angel, which tells exactly such a story.

E Nomine is a band that caught my attention because of their interesting lyrics: German and Latin mixed. I listened to their song Wolfen in a strange flash video once on Atomfilms and I was hooked.Since then I have bought several of their albums and the resonance of the two languages mingled in strange juxtaposition continues to intrigue me.
