Yep so this post is about a week later than I would have liked to put it up, but who cares. So I went to go see the Weakerthans and I have to say I was not disappointed.

The show opened with a band I had never heard of, Raising the Fawn. They were alright. It seemed like there songs were going nowhere at the beginning of all of them. However they picked up near the end of them, and weren't to bad. I however probably wouldn't buy there album as I couldn't see listening to it very often.

Next up was The New Amsterdams, a band I would have gone to see if they weren't playing with the Weakerthans. I've been a fan of them for awhile now, since Worse for the Wear came was released.Though I do have to say that thier new album Story Like a Scar not so good. I would instead recommend downloading the album Killed or Cured from thier website http://www.newams.net . Its a bit on the dark and moody side but I do enjoy it a whole bunch. Anyways about the show. The put on a pretty good set though there are a few songs I would have like to see them play that they didn't (From California, Strangled by the Thought). All in all a pretty good set.

The Weakerthans were the best however. They were full of energy and even played some requests. (Sorry I don't really feel like typing anymore. I assure you It was a good set though.)
