Here is a behind the scene look at Tom Shinness that is featured on Blue Ice. He played the Zither, Fretless Bass, Harp Guitar and Cello.
I hope you enjoy it!

Lately I've been listening to Selena Cross. An amazing vocalist from Australia. My favorite album is "Strip" and song is Silence. She has a clear, strong sound.
Who to compare her too? I really can't because she has her own style of pop mixed with ballad, instrumental. She really expresses herself quite well.
Oh.. this is my rebellion against politics! lol

beautiful voice.
beautiful piano playing....
very interesting hair choice on that album hummm?
Yeah.. I thought it was kind of a wild choice. I think that was her first album.
Now she has a very different look on her website. http://www.selencacross.com
Hope you don't mind, but I thought I'd better correct your web address for Selena, since what you have at the moment won't take anyone there. :-) Nice web page, though.

Well I have to say this summer was extremely successful in that we recorded, mixed and mastered 6 songs out of the 9 that will be on Trillium. Mixed and mastered 3 surround sound mixes for XM Satellite Radio Fine Tuning's program Channel 76. That was a huge effort supported by many people.
I have uploaded the InSync final mix for you to enjoy. Its very different from my other songs, but I would have to say musically, there is a lot of ear candy going on. Grab yourself a cup of tea, coffee or whatever tickles your fancy and listen!

Yeah, well make mine a corncob full of long bottom leaf from the shire. And this is fine ear candy sonics, fine for floating. Fine bongo work. For all spacey effects, is an organic sound nonetheless with the transparent ambience of a back-porch jam. I like it a lot.

OH yeah.. meant to say I was working in Nashville at Palette Music Studios with Jeff Silverman. He is my mixing/mastering Engineer. He is so gifted!
K - looks and sounds like everyone involved are so gifted! Thanks for sharing!
