The Mog Great 501: Day 3

Posted over 5 years ago
Day 3 already? We're ahead of schedule too. 110 albums in the first two days, and 3 so far on Day 3. List is in the first comment. If you don't see your previous albums on there, please let me or Dale know and we'll fix that. Here, again, are the rules in brief. Please select only one album. Do not select an album that someone else has chosen. Albums should be greater than 5 songs or 40 minutes in length. The list is not ordered by rank. Please do not crticize others for their selections.

  33. Truth says Ah, yes...The Beatles finally get some representation. In that case...I'm nominating: Tosca - Suzuki
    Permalink posted 11/01/2006
  34. Terry Staunton says I think, Truth, we're all hanging back on the obvious choices (ie Beatles, Pet Sounds, etc) in the hope that someone else is gonna nominate them, so we don't have to use our own daily vote on a record that other MOGs will champion. It's kinda why I haven't pitched my own personal favourite, Frank Sinatra's Songs For Swingingly Dyslexic Lovers. It's a marvellous collection, starting off with Sergeants In The Night and ending with that all-time classic I've Got You Under My Sink.

  58. etcvisitor says hey, i was thinking that maybe we should have a submission time and then do all of the vetoing or confirming stuff in a process. and then have another period of voting if everyone goes through the list and has a yes, no, i dont know vote for every album then we could get a more definitive list that actually represents mog. just a thought... sounds like it might need some form of voting software or something...
