No, I'm not talking about Paul and the Bad Company gang. Here I am referring to The Slip, a band that could be said to come out of the Boston area. This three-piece's 2006 release is just so good--and yet, no one seems to know it. Here is one of the more upbeat songs, and if you can decipher the lyrics, it is well worth your while. Cryptic, yes, but I like it... And is this song title a nod? To the past? Well, maybe the lead-in "First Panda In Space" missing, as it is here, leaves a big old gap, sure, but still with the line "death is love" repeated thu-out, how can it be wrong? It IS fast approaching winter, after all. Stay warm.

By the way, MOG (or whatever technology) would not let me upload my MP3 of The Soft Machine, so we get the yellow arrow button. Sorry.

And below is the cover.

Good. Wish I could give you the whole song, but... And where is all the coding coming from (or shouldn't I ask)?

Hmmmm....did you try to edit the post? Does the code still show there?

Hey. Well, actually no, I didn't edit the post before I published it. That is because I was afraid I'd cut something important--my nose to spite my face? And still, uploading a post with a song is hit or miss. Usually miss. I had a big long 3-day posting from my time at Outside Lands. Great stuff, I thought. But then it wouldn't upload right. It froze, it failed, it posted with the symbols--each time I yanked it before anyone viewed it. I love Mog so far, but this part of it is frustrating. I'm open to suggestions. I'm a bit busy this week, but will get back to you if you message me. Thanks.
