When Amy Winehouse speaks, doesn't she sound like a cross between Shaun Rider and The Artful Dodger?
I just bought this album last night. Now I'm going to sound like an ignorant American, but is all of their stuff this catchy? This is a fantastic pop record, and there isn't a bad song on it. Let me say also that I am not a fan of girl groups/boy bands at all, but there ain't nothing wrong with some good pop. Could someone enlighten me please?

Nah, that's not the sentiment at all. I love pop music, but I was unfamiliar with Sugababes (even though I've heard of them). I just wanted to know if I missed the boat.
the only two music video channels we have on free (non-cable) TV play 95% pop, so i am sufficiently exposed to Sugababes songs. their music has 'matured' over time, in sort of a similar way that Aqua's has, or M2M's had before the two members both went solo.
on unrelated matters, i love that your favorite U2 album is Achtung Baby. it is also mine, and i don't really know anyone else who's the same. (8
My name is Troy Powers, and I'm a Sugababe-aholic. They do have more than a few catchy tunes. I love Overload, and I still have no clue what they're singing about.
1. "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley 2. "I'll Bet That You Look Good On The Dancefloor" by Arctic Monkeys 3. "Nth Degree" by Morningwood 4. "Lovelight" by Robbie Williams 5. "Gold Lion" by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs 6. "LDN" by Lily Allen 7. "Show Me" by John Legend 8. "Make This Go On Forever" by Snow Patrol 9. "Voice Inside My Head" by The Dixie Chicks 10."White and Nerdy" by Weird Al Yankovic

Morningwood definitely came out in 2005... that song is terribly catchy. I'd still dig it if I hadn't overplayed it obsessively last winter. :) I love that Arctic Monkeys song, and Lily Allen makes some great pop music. :)

The Artful Ryder?
Kinda rolls off the tongue, doesn't it?
