If I was going to end it all...

I suppose if I was going to end it all, I would have to think long and hard about the songs that would be playing while I did it. I mean, I am not suicidal usually. Only the past few days I have spent too much time at home, and when I get bored of my own company I plot how to rid myself of this uninspiring house-guest.Plus, it is my 28th birthday in a few weeks and naturally, thoughts at this age turn to mortality. That is normal right?Anyway, today I was thinking of the soundtrack to ending it all, and part of me thinks, fuck it, the last songs I hear on this planet should be:Bob Marley - Three Little Birds (if any song could talk me out of it, it is this one)Bugsy Malone soundtrack - We Could Have Been Anything (for the comic value, you know?)The Pixies - Wave of Mutilation (because it seems like an exit song)But then this song came on my iTunes, and I decided to stop thinking about such a depressing topic. Who wants to die when music is this charming and delightful? Not me for sure.

    King Sara says Yaesayer and I danced like fools to the Bugsy Malone soundtrack last year and it was pretty close to being the best night ever. It is a great film and the songs are amazing. One of my friends thought that Wave of Mutilation was "wave all through the nation". It almost ruined me to tell him the actual lyrics. Glad you liked the song.

    fistula spume says I get blue from time to time. Like right now. Love that Danielson song. I need to go track it down. Really upbeat. I forced my wife to watch Bugsy Malone for a second time a couple of months ago. It still gives me shivers. I think I know all the words without the movie. I even felt a little weepy when listening to the end song. I don't know if it was the beer or the winter but it hit the spot. Hey you give a little love and it all comes back to you! I have to say "Wave of Mutilation" cheers me up. I got to sing it on that Rock Band game with the fam over x-mas and scored some pretty high points. Nice post your majesty! :)
