So, I came back from New Zealand with full on wet sloppy love for the So So Modern. In the tradition of The Mint Chicks with their clangy angular guitar they are both blankie carrying kite flying indie and punk as fuck. Hooray for a combination that often misses any integrity.The good news is that So So Modern are in the UK and playing 2 gigs in London this week (as far as I know - there might be more) they are playing on the Art Rocker festival at the Buffalo Bar tomorrow and at the Windmill in Brixton on Sunday. Here is one their songs, you know, just for the pleasure of it.
