So on Monday I went to the Watson Twins/Sea Wolf/Favourite Sons/ Tigers Can Bite You show and missed the very reason I rushed from Santa Monica to Echo Park, the twins. But I did get a chance to meet them as we were leaving, and they are tall and beautiful and oh so kind. They've informed me of a sort of secret show coming up in November for those of you who live in LA. They'll be playing at the El Rey Nov 2 w/ Shelby Lynn and now it's not really a secret since it's up on the El Rey site now is it! I didn't stay for all of Sea Wolf because I had to get to bed, but I did record a little something because it was SOOOOO good, kind of hypnotizing ya know? I'll post it on my youtube soon. Also, my review of the new Roots album=Supreme, Yo La Tengo=Sub-Supreme..still awesome, and tomorrow is the big night, the birdman, woot woot. Andrew Bird here we come!
