Some months I am really eager to use my emusic credits once they replenish, and some I completely forget and kick myself. I've only ever discovered really great music on that site. The editor's picks and recommendations according to my purchases are great because they are bound to recommend something I haven't heard of(that say iTunes "genius" would have). So this morning I got my new credits and remembered that I needed the new Heartless Bastards. Which I am currently listening to, no verdict yet, but I doubt that it will suck. eMusic then recommended The Cave Singers. The name sounded familiar but after just a few samples I realized I hadnt heard anything like it lately. Since I've been back in Texas I've been listening to country a LOT more than I had been. I just really love me some sad twangy tunes. So if you like what is apparently called "space country" you would be into The Cave Singers. The vocals do the same thing Neutral Milk Hotel did to me the first time I heard it, it's refreshing, more minimalist, and good to get high to. Hypothetically.
