Reviewing Queens of the Stone Age albums these days is an exercise in torture...Lullabies to Paralyse had me scratching my head for days - it was a new album, and yet one of the songs was so familiar that I knew all the words to it... it drove me insane. Was it a cover? No, can't be...Of course, In My Head was a reworked cut from the Desert Sessions 9 and 10 - and now Make It Wit Chu has made the leap from that fabulous set of recordings to a real album! Will always love the Desert Sessions 9 & 10 though, with Polly Harvey joining Josh Homme et al. There will never be a better time is simply PMS on record!
