So. I started Taxi! Magazine after a drinking session back in April, and have been working on it ever since, with a lot of goodwill and kind support from volunteer writers who have taken time out to contribute. And today, I finally quit my job to be able to run it full time. It was a job I was extremely unhappy in, so sending out that final email to all staff to say goodbye was the most cathartic thing I've ever done. I'm not even worried about having zero income. If I end up working in a supermarket to fund the site, I'll do it. AlthoughI'm going to aim high and try for Starbucks. It feels like I've just stepped off a very large cliff, and as soon as I pressed Send on that email, Blur's Song 2 ran through my head and therefore will be my theme tune for today!
