800 Miles Is a Drive (should be underlined) is a book that I am working on. I decided to put a collection of music related blogs together last year after being told that I write really good blogs regarding shows that my friends and I attended. The title comes from a line in one of my favorite Spoon songs, "I Summon You," because my friends and I have driven well over 800 miles, all in the name of music. I'm meticulous; a "slave to the details" to quote Interpol, and as much as I love writing about and being around music, I have to look at it like a businesswoman too. I worry that there is no real market for such a collection, but still, I write. I'm hoping to have it finished before the end of the year.
