Went to see Robyn Hitchcock at Maxwell's Saturday night. I had previously only seen him play solo, so seeing him with a full band (the Venus 3 with Peter Buck, Scott McCaughey and Bill Rieflin) was an amazing treat. Went to Union Hall in Park Slope Friday...had never been...what a great venue and bar for that matter. Shouldn't every neighborhood have a bar where you can play botchi ball?! I think so.
