This album blew me away. It has a perfect mix of sounds. Anyone who is a fan 60s music must buy this. five stars!

And this is just the tip of the iceberg, my friend. All of these musicians have recorded stuff that is the equal of, if not better than, the stuff on this CD. You might also want to check out the '60s output of the fabulous Nara Leao, who sang on the original "Tropicalia" album back in the day. Also check out Caetano Veloso's autobiography of that time, "Tropical Truth." It's windy and self-important at times, but there are some exhilarating (and harrowing) scenes of life in Brazil inthose days.
