MOG

Recording is going well. I feel like a boss lady. 10 day lock out of a gorgeous studio with carved wood and purple raw silk walls, a live room with a baby grand, a vocal booth with some mic that costs as much as a car, i can lay in the sunlight and write lyrics by a wall of windows. quite a leap from some of the recording i've done in friends bedrooms and closets and even a converted storage shed. I can't even seem to throw away my own crumpled paper, it magically finds it's way into the trash when i'm not looking. bottled water flows like water... i left a couple nights ago without a copy of the WIP track and my engineer andy ( the one cleaning up after me ) had raced my elevator down the stairs to hand off the cd as if it were the olympic torch. i went home after. i have a home. rent is paid. charmed life i tell you. artists paradise.
